The DFV valves from Dual Valves Australasia are designed to operate on the discharge side of the pump.
Dual DFV valves find application in mining and mineral processing, power generation, sand and gravel, chemical and soda ash, pulp and paper, and environmental and effluent.
As the flow starts or stops, the ball automatically rises or falls, opening or closing the valve. The handwheel locks the ball in position, and can be used to isolate, but with back pressure. Dual valves can work in the horizontal and vertical positions.
Dual DFV valves are available in sizes ranging from 80mm to 600mm. Different sizes are available on request. The valve has an operating pressure of 0 to 100 bar.
Key benefits of Dual DFV valves:
- Simple manual operation: Manual handwheel is standard and automatic actuators are not required, but can be fitted
- Replaces two valves – the check valve and a gate, knife gate, pinch or diaphragm valve
- Rotating and floating ball self-adjusts to the flow
