Parramatta Council installs new Ezi-Duct self cleaning dust collection system at works depot

A new Ezi-Duct dust extraction system was installed at Parramatta
Council’s works depot for the removal of wood dust and shavings from their
timber joinery.

Consisting of an eCono 4000 fully automatic self cleaning dust
collector, the Ezi-Duct modular steel ducting system and Ezi-Flex flexible
ducting, the dust collection system was completely Australian designed and
built by Ezi-Duct at their Auburn factory.

The eCono 4000 dust collector features a high efficiency, energy saving
4.0 kW fan that provides suction of up to 4000 m³/h @ 2500 pa. All the wood
waste from the unit is deposited directly into a 240L wheelie bin, eliminating any
OH&S issues associated with lifting the heavy bags.

Constructed from Australian corrosion resistant galvanised steel, the dust
collector automatically cleans its 15 top quality filter bags every time the
unit is shut down via a PLC incorporated into the control panel. This ensures the
dust collector delivers 100% performance efficiency whenever the dust extraction
system is operated.

Ezi-Duct modular steel ducting can be simply clamped together, reducing installation
time and cost for customers. Featuring smooth bore pressed bends for improved
airflow, the ducting can also be pulled apart in the event of a blockage or if
the system needs to be relocated.

The Ezi-Duct ducting range comes standard in corrosion resistant galvanised
steel and is also available in 304 or 316 stainless steel material as well as in
a heavy wall, fully welded ducting option. Ezi-Duct manufactures modular steel
ducting at its modern factory located in Auburn NSW.

Australia’s leading supplier of dust collection equipment, Ezi-Duct
offers a huge range of dust collectors, fume extractors, modular ducting,
flexible ducting, fume arms, fans and spray booths among others ex-stock at
their three state branches in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Ezi-Duct is a
proud Australian Manufacturer and proudly displays the Made in Australia logo.
