Treotham introduces the latest range of linear actuators from igus
featuring polymer bearings and supplied complete with a motor.
Offered by the linear drive technology specialist igus for the first
time, the new lubricant-free linear solutions feature stepper motors in sizes
NEMA17 and NEMA23 from the small motor range. Optionally available with encoder
and/or brake, the stepper motors serve as a good accessory to the DryLin linear
drives for reasons such as cost-effectiveness, precision, and simple operation.
The new linear axis DryLin E SAW-0630 with NEMA17 motor is driven via a
trapezoidal or high helix thread lead screw with numerous pitches available from
1.5mm to 15mm. The drive lead screws are supported by ball bearings with the lead
screw nuts made of tribologically optimised iglide high-performance polymers
guaranteeing freedom from lubrication over the entire stroke length, and
Key features of the DryLin E SAW-0630 linear actuators include components
made from plastic and aluminium for lightweight design; ideal for simple
lubricant-free format adjustments, feed movements, and component handling; and linear
guide comprising of a bearing housing and tribologically optimised polymer
gliding film for very low friction and wear, and easy assembly.
The new driven axis is available from stock within a few days, in the
exact length specified along with the motor.
DryLin E SAW-0630 linear actuators offer 12 rail profiles in single and
double rail options, as well as choice of individual bearings or complete
slides. These guides are also available as linear axes with a toothed belt
